Juventus manager Antonio Conte has been named coach of the year at the Dubai Globe Soccer Awards. He beat Rafa Benitez of Napoli and Borussia Dortmund’s Jurgen Klopp for the eighth Dubai International Sports Conference. The manager admitted that he is still reeling from Juventus’ Champions League loss in December finishing third in their group after losing the crucial match against Galatasaray in Istanbul on a water-logged pitch. It still ‘hurts’, but Conte wants his team to fully embrace the new european 2014 challenge of the Europa League.

Juventus will face the Turkish side Trabzonspor on February and Juve’s boss is looking forward to a tremendous 2014 treble with the third Scudetto in a row, Europa League and Coppa Italia to demonstrate that he is still hungry for victories. The current Juventus tactician has been speaking in Dubai picking up the the Globe Soccer European coach of the year award. “Scudetto, Europa League and the Coppa Italia, I want to win them all,” Conte told the Bbc.
