The bianconeri scored 4 goals against Petkovic's team again. Benitez won the second game too, but he has to settle defensive issues
In the space of less than two weeks, Juventus has scored a bagful of goals against Lazio.
At this stage, Lazio is not showing the same performances that they produced last year against Juve.
The score was 4-1, but could have been more if Juve did not take their foot of the pedal!
With goals from, man of the match, Vidal (2), Tevez and Vucinic, Lazio had no answer to Juve's attacking force. Petkovic tactics appeared non-existent. The defence and midfield were in disarray with errors all over the park. Even the best player for Lazio, Hernanes, was forced into making critical errors that eventually saw him sent off, after conceding 2 yellow cards. Playing Klose as a lone striker, proved to be the wrong option while the hard working Candreva appeared out of position. New acquisition Biglia, was
disappointing. Will Petkovic keep his place after these performances? Fortunately, they are not playing Juve again for a while!
So in Serie A, in the space of two weeks Juventus has not faced any competition. Will this help them in the Champions League campaign? Only time will tell but Juve certainly will grow with confidence.
Facing a confident Juve side at the moment must be a concern for the rest of the league.
Next Game for Juve is Mazzarri's team. Mazzarri need not worry as there is a weeks break in between!
The other match in Serie A, that was played earlier, saw a good Napoli side defeat Chievo 4-2. Higuain sent the Napoli fans into ecstasy, as he scored his first of the season. Are they missing Cavani at this stage? Certainly not if Marek Hamsik keeps scoring two Goals a week! Napoli seems to be a good side going forward but is still lacking in the defensive area. If Napoli can grow with confidence and settles their defensive issues they will be a force for the scudetto.
